Consulting the Re-Brand

As the company grew and expanded, winning multiple accolades and moving from a Start-Up to a growing business - it was time for a re-brand. We are very proud to have consulted on this project and been involved from the early, brainstorming stages, to the final delivery of the new visual identity.

With a vast network of creatives and connections in the field, we were able to work with the talented Kuba Malicki - a graphic designer specialising in the football and sports field, having worked with huge clubs like Lech Poznan, The Polish Football Association, FC Midtjylland and many more. Our previous experience, working within international teams, allowed us to navigate this three-way collaboration extremely well and with Bart being fluent in Polish and English - we were able to liaise between Kuba’s artistic mind and Daniel & Luke’s business vision flawlessly.

When languages come in CLUTCH.

Kuba’s Approach:

“Every time I create a logo, I look to combine the characteristic features of the organization with the simplest possible graphic form. The Homefans logo intends to symbolize the unique aspect of their journeys. Not only can you watch a sports spectacle without fear of getting a ticket or accommodation.

You can actually feel like a fan of the local team and meet people with similar passions. To capture this, I was looking for symbols associated with locality, experience, and - above all - people.”

The role we played

Our role was not only relating strictly to the visuals. This move signified a new start for Homefans and it was important to reflect this in the growth strategy, which included an expansion to sports other than football and creating more of a marketplace feel.

Fine-tuning the brief and presenting the vision to the designer was absolutely crucial work to bring this whole project to life. The deliverables included a full brand-book, assets for the new website, visualisations and mockups, as well as social media layouts.

The Re-Brand in all its glory

Photo & Video Coverage - Rome, Belgrade, Paris Copenhagen? We’re there.

Thrown into the deep-end you could say? The Eternal Derby in Belgrade. One of football’s most NOTORIOUS rivalries and Bart going VIRAL (back in the day VIRAL) as the “photographer hit by a flare”. Crazy scenes.

We snuck our cameras into the iconic Stadio Olimpico in Rome, we marched with the Ultras in Copenhagen, we got pepper sprayed in Tychy, Poland. We did what had to be done to get the shots.

Some of the CRAZIEST memories were made travelling on this job.

Retainer Editing

Brazil, Argentina? - impossible is nothing. When the budget restrictions meant we couldn’t be there ourselves, we were ready to problem-solve. With a detailed brief, local filmmakers captured content for us and we were able to continue developing consistent content for Homefans. Having developed a common language, we were trusted with bringing the vision to life and continued to support the growth and marketing efforts with our edits.

Editing for a client long-term can help to establish a common understanding and end-up being an incredibly fruitful partnership
