XIAOMI CREATORS
XIAOMI believed in us, before we believed in ourselves which was either flattering or a little bit daring, but luckily worked out okay.
Our adventure with Xiaomi started in 2020, after we were headhunted into Xiaomi's Creators programme, on the back of our debut short film "How to Survive a Pandemic" landing a finalist spot at the Moment Invitational Film Festival. Not bad for a first attempt.
The Xiaomi Creators programme is Xiaomi’s talent initiative for filmmakers and photographers, built around the tagline "Creativity for Everyone" — the idea that anyone with a smartphone can tap into their creative potential.
Our involvement in the project was pretty comprehensive and included being involved with testing new smartphones and their cameras, shooting campaigns for product launches, producing 3 more Short Films and even attending and creating content from an in-person European launch in Vienna, Austria.
This was a real "pinch us" moment

The Night Shift - International Award-Winning Short Film
The culmination of our work and our Magnum Opus. A Short Film written, directed, produced and edited by the TRIO. A film that was shown at the Global Product Launch for Xiaomi’s flagship phone in 2022 and that went on to WIN the Moment Invitational Film Festival, together with a $10,000+ prize.
The Night Shift tells the story of a security guard and the secret of his museum when the last visitors leave. The production took place in one of Poland’s most famous and reputable Museum’s - Krakow’s Sukiennice and featured the Krakow Ballet dancers, as well as actor Wojciech Galzinski. The film was shot entirely on a mobile phone and went on to win multiple, international film festivals.
This was the first production to feature an original score, by one of our very own, talented Music Composer Bartosz Gruchala.

Meet the Creators: Cape Town
A once-in-a-lifetime trip, that took us to the other side of the world - Cape Town, South Africa to tell our own story. Xiaomi commissioned us to use their phone to document our trip and tell the story of us, as well as the moment we met one of our idols - Sam Kolder. A dream project, an amazing trip and a heartfelt, personal video that garnered over 250,000+ Views across multiple platforms.

Animation
As part of our ongoing contribution to the Xiaomi social media channels and an audience of over 50M+ viewers worldwide. These were beautifully crafted by Aga, our animator in accordance with detailed briefs from Xiaomi. Among them, two that stood out is our stop-motion F1 pit-stop for the Xiaomi S3 watch, as well as a re-production of the old school game - Gold Miner, because why not. Nostalgia always hits hard.
