We’ve been together for 11 years - as well as starting TRIO together, we’ve spent our whole adult lives working together seamlessly. So it’s no surprise that this is a huge part of our brand image, workflow and process.
Our TRIO roots are all from making things ‘cinematic’. We love filmmaking so we love approach ‘content’ from a film perspective, with a little Hollywood flare thrown in for fun. From ideas, to aesthetics, to over the top set design - this is our creative style.
Wow, blowing our own trumpets here, but TRIO is nothing without authenticity. The reason we started the brand was to express ourselves creatively and freely. We approach all forms of our personal content with humour and light heartedness.
We have a #vanlife Van - his name is Dobby, because this is a Renault Master and Dobby has no master. We road trip around Europe together, photography, filmmaking, making YouTube vids. It really helps that Dobby is a handsome young man.
We realise this is not a unique concept and as clichê as it sounds, travel has become a huge part of our identity. It works perfectly with creator life, and we are always looking for the next excuse to visit somewhere new.
We’ve won, been finalists in and selected for International Film Festivals for our mobile short films. It’s also thanks to our first short film “How to Survive a Pandemic” that was a finalist in MIFF 2020, that we even became professional filmmakers.
